Has the novelty worn off?

...no, not really. Once we were settled into our home for the night it all went rather swimmingly. We were fortunate that when we picked up the van the man suggested a hot air fan was a good idea... the engine running to heat the huge space uses a lot of diesel - as we are staying on electric sites two of the three nights we have warmth. We brought our own bedding, I am really pleased we did, as I know how cosy our feather duvet is and we have a lovely set of soft fluffy pillows (IMHO!). So we were warm, comfortable and slept amazingly, woke refreshed and raring to go. Top tip three: take your own luxury! That floor is wet! We had a list of tasks to do when we woke, refill the water tank, shower (in a shower block but even that was not without event), empy the waste water tank, eat and try to be in Hunstanton by sunrise. A new adventure - hiring a motorhome

Been talking about doing this for a while (the blog, not the motor home, though that too has been discussed a lot!!) as a good place to put a few memories, share a few laughs but also to remember the large number of top tips that we talk about but never write down or remember. This weekend we have undertaken a new adventure, we have hired a motor home. Now you would think that, being our first time, we would choose summer months to do this but no, we have chosen January! As we both share the same passion for photography this seemed like the most sensible option for somewhere to warm up, eat some food and sleep. Supposedly it was going to be cheaper than the night away I promised him for his birthday present but it is not as cheap as it always sounds. F irst top tip: before booking a motor home check with them how much each little extra will be! The motor home could not be picked up until 3pm but we hate to waste a day hanging around waiting to leave. We started early, got the car
